Stephen Margolis

Head of business development
Having started his career as a lawyer in the UK with Bank of Scotland, Stephen quickly expanded his skillset into a variety of business areas, starting with the film industry where he founded Future Films in 2000. Since then, he has been involved in raising over £2 billion for film production, acting as Producer, Executive Producer, and/or Financier for more than 30 films and TV shows. In 2011, Stephen moved into other asset classes, creating Taurus Asset Finance as an alternative asset finance house focusing on real estate, patent exploitation, technology, and more, overseeing the raise of over £400M for a range of investments. From there, Stephen went on to found the ARIE Group, a venture capital and financial services provider focused on investments between China, the Middle East, Europe, and more. It was while working with a portfolio of investee companies and seeing the problems faced by many of them that the initial idea for ARIE Finance was born.
